Ulrich Orth is Associate Professor of Developmental Psychology at the University of Bern, conducting research at the intersection of personality and developmental psychology. His main research interests are self-esteem and personality development. In 2013, he received the William Stern Award for Personality Psychology from the German Psychological Society, Division of Personality Psychology and Psychological Assessment, and in 2016, the SAGE Young Scholars Award from the Foundation for Personality and Social Psychology. He serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.
