Ulrich Orth is Associate Professor of Developmental Psychology at the University of Bern, conducting research at the intersection of personality and developmental psychology. His main research interests are self-esteem and personality development. He received the William Stern Award from the German Psychological Society, Division of Personality Psychology and Psychological Assessment (2013), the SAGE Young Scholars Award from the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (2016), and the Mid-Career Award from the European Association of Personality Psychology (2020). He serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.
